Hello, my name is Dumbo, can you guess how I got my name?

I am a more recent rescue but have been here longer than my rescue cousins  Spark & Shadow, when I was found I was tied to the entrance to a shelter with nothing but an electricity wire.  The humans are not sure what my exact story is and its one I won't ever share with them.  They do know that once I trusted them all I want from them is affection and cuddles!

My trusted humans say that I am a sweetheart in all senses of the word and can sometimes be protective of my food, but that it is understandable and manageable. I also prefer female dogs over then male ones, I may not be aggressive towards them but I am not a fan.  I get along with everyone after I trust you and would be the best companion! Maybe you're the one meant to show me what a warm bed and full belly is all about?

My Ideal family: 

I would do best in an active family with older kids and other dogs, living in a house or spacious apartment, with the possibility to run and unwind.
